John Peacock's side take on Kazakhstan in opening Euro qualifier
England v KazakhstanUEFA European U17 ChampionshipFirst Round Qualifying8am (GMT), Monday 26 October 2009Ismet Qaibov, Baku, AzarbaijanJohn Peacock has taken his England U17 team to Azerbaijan where, on Monday, they will begin their qualifying campaign for the European U17 Championship. This current crop of Young Lions have graduated from last season’s Victory Shield-winning side and in August they finished second in The FA International U17 Tournament. However, the Kazakhstan encounter represents their first taste of competitive international football.On Wednesday they take on the hosts before wrapping things up against Serbia on 31 October.
