The FA’s 8th Fitness and Conditioning Conference will take place on Sunday 22 November 2009.
The conference, called “Planning for Success”, will take place at: Holywell Park, Loughborough University.
As well as football, the conference is affiliated with Rugby League and Union clubs, The British Olympic Association and other sporting bodies. People from every level of sport are welcome to attend.
This year’s key note speaker will be Dr Inigo Mujika, who will be discussing “Peaking for Soccer – Tournament v Club Season – Is It possible in Team Sports?”
The conference is highly anticipated within the industry and speakers in previous years have included Nick Johnston (Sale Sharks) Dave Reddin, (Head of Fitness for England Rugby) and Mark Verstagen (founder of Athletes Performance USA).
The 7th conference in 2007, “Looking Outside the Box”, was a great success. It was attended by 170 people and had 25 Exhibitors over two exhibition areas. This year’s conference promises to be equally rewarding for all who attend.
