FA Community Awards 2010

FA Community Awards presented by McDonald's to grassroots clubs and volunteers.

Grassroots football clubs and volunteers from across the country are set to be recognised this year, thanks to The FA Community Awards presented by McDonald’s.

The brand new initiative is backed by England’s 1966 World Cup hat-trick hero, Sir Geoff Hurst, and gives the grassroots football community a chance to put outstanding volunteers and clubs in the frame to receive a national award at The FA Community Shield this August.

“Grassroots football is full of passionate people who are dedicated to helping and encouraging others so The FA Community Awards presented by McDonald’s is a fantastic way of rewarding clubs, coaches and volunteers,” commented Sir Geoff.

The FA Community Awards features eight categories:-

The FA Charter Standard Community Club Award

The FA Charter Standard Development Club Award
