Brendan Rogers says he has learned a great deal on the Pro Licence.
Rogers on right track

While the media spotlight this summer has focused on the new manager at Stamford Bridge, one of Chelsea's existing coaches has completed the final step in his qualifications and passed the UEFA Pro Licence.
Chelsea's Reserve Team Coach Brendan Rogers is about to begin his third season at the West London outfit, having previously worked at the Academy for Reading, and he had nothing but positives to say for the course he has just completed.
Speaking exclusively to TheFA.com, Rogers said: "The whole experience has been fantastic. No matter how good a player you have been, it can never totally prepare you for coaching and management.
"This will be my eleventh year in coaching, I was 24 when I started my first coaching badge and it has taken me eleven years to get here.
"The process has been great, what has been pleasing has been the culture of progression. It has been very good and that is testament to The FA and the type of people trying to stay at the leading edge of the game.
"I have thoroughly enjoyed this course in particular. I have worked with some of the best players and people at Chelsea, but this course has allowed me to learn from some tremendous people from all levels of the game."
One person that Rogers credits for his development as a coach is former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.
"I worked for two years under Jose Mourinho and I was able to learn a lot from him, which I then passed on to my players," Rogers explains.
"With this course it reinforces what you are doing, and it expands your knowedge and experience by working with others.
"Guys like Roy Keane, Gary Ablett and Steve Agnew who played at the highest level, but then you have also got guys like Dave Parnaby who has done an unbelievable job at Academy level with Middlesbrough.
"There's every type of coach here so if you want to learn this is the best place to do it. There's a real thirst to learn.
"The minute you stop progressing, someone takes over you. You gain this qualification, but we all will be doing everything we can to go to the next level and do everything we can to get better.
"The evolution has to be continual or else you will be taken over."
