Richards joins bid

Sir Dave Richards has joined England's World Cup bid.

Premier League Chairman Sir Dave Richards is to join England’s World Cup bid after accepting an invitation from the Board of Directors.

Richards will become a Deputy Chairman with specific focus on International Relations.

Sir Dave Richards said: "Bringing the FIFA World Cup to England would be fantastic for the game in this country and, along with my colleagues, I will be doing all I can to make that a reality."
