Five players have been nominated for the E.ON 'Player of the Round' award following their performance in the First Round Proper.

A five-strong panel, which includes FA Cup hero, Ricky George, will nominate their candidates after each round (up to and including the Semi-Final) and you can vote for your favourite on TheFA.com.

The selections for the First Round Proper are as follows:

Ali Chabaan’s mazy dribble and finish was enough to sink Shrewsbury Town as Staines dumped League opposition out of The FA Cup for the second time in three seasons (Howard Wheatcroft).

A trademark header from Chris Holland set Bath City on their way to an FA Cup upset against League Two Grimsby Town. The defender coupled his first-half effort with an outstanding defensive display to ensure there was no way back for the Mariners (Graham Bartlett).

Exodus Geohaghon was a colossal presence as non-League Kettering survived a second-half onslaught to dump League One Hartlepool out of The Cup (Mark Clemmit).

Matt Bailey was a thorn in Charlton’s side at both ends of the pitch as Northwich Victoria shocked Charlton Athletic. The giant centre-half was named Man of the Match after causing problems going forward as well as for his formidable performance at the heart of the Northwich defence (Andy Townsend).

Leading with five minutes to go, Crewe Alexandra looked to be heading towards the Second Round of The FA Cup but after Richard Pacquette stabbed home a late equaliser, Richard Brodie stole the headlines as his second strike of the game, from the edge of the area, put non-League York City into the hat for Round Two (Ricky George).

You have until midday on Monday 23 November to vote for your favourite and the winner will receive a commemorative trophy and two VIP tickets to The FA Cup sponsored by E.ON Final on 15 May 2010.
