Applicants must be 18 years of age by 1st May 2022 to be able to volunteer. Applicants must also have the Right to Work and Volunteer in the United Kingdom. You must be able to travel to your selected venue/s through your own means, as we are not able to provide travel expenses.

Of course, our volunteer programme is open to all, and we actively encourage both experienced volunteers and those who are looking to volunteer for the first time. Everyone brings something different to the team, and we look forward to seeing what you can bring.

Applications to volunteer at UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 is now closed. The application window opened on 28 September 2021 and closed on 1 November 2021.

We will communicate with all applicants regarding their application and progress to the next stage of the process by April 2022.

Once we have reviewed your application you may be invited to the next stage of the process which will be a one-way video interview which would take place between November 2021 and March 2022. 

All offers to be a UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 volunteer will be made by April 2022.

All volunteers will receive an Adidas UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 uniform which they can wear with pride throughout the tournament and keep as a memento afterwards. Watch this space for more information on when the kit will be revealed! 

Unfortunately, there will not be free travel when carrying out your Volunteer role. 

We will ensure all volunteers have the necessary information to perform their role through general and specific training. Training will be a combination of online and face to face training which will take place shortly before the tournament.  

As with travel, any volunteers who need to book accommodation to attend their shift would need to do so through their own means.

Yes, you will be provided with a volunteer uniform and an accreditation pass which you will always be required to wear whilst performing your role. When you are on your volunteer shifts, we will provide you with food and refreshments. Any role-specific training and equipment you will need to perform your role will also be provided.

There will be approximately 150 volunteers per venue, and a total of 1,500 stadium volunteers around the country. There will also be approximately 500 host city volunteers for this tournament. The difference between stadium and host city volunteers can be found below. 

UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 volunteers will perform roles predominantly in Spectator Services. At least 50% of our roles for UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 will be Spectator Services focused, which consists of assisting with the movement of crowds, helping to build the atmosphere around the grounds and being on hand to assist all spectators with any questions. 

Training will be provided for all volunteers including role and venue specific training. We will provide you with all the training you will require to perform your role.

An average mission/shift will be approximately 8 hours. This will include setup, pre- and post-match. You will receive a lunch/dinner break depending on the time of your mission with food and refreshments. 

Each of our venues will have different requirements and so car parking and cycle parking will be determined on a venue-by-venue basis. We will be able to update you closer to the time on the facilities available.
