BIO
A popular member of the Three Lions squad and a technically gifted forward, capable of causing problems with his pace, movement, ability on the ball and the all-important knack of scoring goals.
He started out as a youngster with hometown club Manchester United having come through their academy since the age of eight and then progressing to the first-team ranks as well as picking up caps with England throughout the age groups, including a trip to the U17 World Cup of 2008 in South Korea.
His senior debut came in a Wembley clash against Ghana, the country of his parents, and as his career took him south to Arsenal he’s remained an England regular under the likes of Fabio Capello, Roy Hodgson and Gareth Southgate.
"I think he's a natural centre-forward and he will get opportunities. He has shown with his form for England that he can be a real asset. He's a good goal threat.""
Sir Alex Ferguson
