Following an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing, suspensions from all football activity totalling three years and four months have been given to three AFC Hayes players after they admitted multiple breaches of The FA’s Betting Rules.
Lawrence Shennan was suspended for two years and fined £580.20, which includes the £330.20 net profit made from the bets.
Ben Goode was suspended for one year and fined £606.42, which includes the £456.42 net profit made from the bets.
Finally, Chevy Hart, who is no longer with the club, was suspended for four months and fined £145.65, which includes the £45.65 net profit made from the bets.
The sanctions for Shennan and Goode have been set aside following a request for them to receive the written reasons before deciding whether to appeal.
The FA has produced a video to explain our Betting Rules.
