Eastleigh pulled off a real FA Trophy shock by beating Gateshead in the Second Round Proper to reach the last 16.
The Conference South side were playing against a Gateshead side from the league above, but that gap did not show as Eastleigh took the game to their visitors from the outset and deservedly claimed the victory.
A crowd of 330 braved the windy conditions in Hampshire to watch the sides, and they were rewarded by a fine performance from the hosts.

And after 32 minutes Jamie Collins gave them a deserved lead, smashing home from outside the area.
That would certainly have pleased manager Richard Hill, who is in his second season in charge of Eastleigh after a spell working in Kazakhstan.
Gateshead pushed forward early in the second half but were undone by another quality strike with 18 minutes left.
This time it was Stuart Fleetwood who grabbed the goal, lashing home a half-volley from the edge of the area.
That meant it was too big a lead for Gateshead to mount a comeback and Eastleigh hung on to complete a famous victory.
