Portsmouth stole the show on a sizzling night of FA Youth Cup action as they put 12 goals past Moneyfields to storm into the Second Round Proper of the competition.
The South Coast side, who were being watched by first-team manager Guy Whittingham and chairman Iain McInnes, were unstoppable at Fratton Park and were powered to an emphatic win with the help of eight different scorers.
Pompey were 7-0 up at the break, with Ben Close netting four times inside the opening period.

Chad Field grabbed a brace, while Lewis Gill, Jack Whatmough, Bradley Tarbuck, Adam May, Harry Medway and Lewis Horsburgh all struck to propel their side into the next phase with style.
Jason Williams proved to be decisive for Southend United as his treble fired his side to a 3-2 win at Maidstone United.
Williams's early brace had handed Southend the initiative, but Maidstone were back on level terms by the interval thanks to goals from Jack Sullivan and Regan Payne.
However, Williams struck once more eleven minutes from time to break Maidstone hearts and book his side's place in the Second Round Proper.
Meanwhile, Solomon Wheatley was a hat-trick hero for Plymouth Argyle, who brushed aside Bristol Academy 4-1 at home.
Ben Purrington broke the deadlock for the hosts shortly after half-hour mark, while Wheatley grabbed his first of the night just two minutes later.
The Plymouth striker completed his treble with efforts in the 57th and 70th minutes before Josh Jones pulled one back for the visitors in the closing stages.
Ten-man Peterborough United produced a valiant display to see off Notts County 2-1 after extra-time.
The Posh suffered a blow when Joe Burgess was dismissed in the 67th minute, but they held strong and went in front when Robert Duggan found the back of the net in the ninth minute of extra-time.
Reece Fyfe levelled with just three minutes remaining to seemingly set up a penalty shootout, but Jonathan Edwards glanced home with just seconds remaining to snatch the win for Peterborough.
Walsall enjoyed a more comfortable evening with first-half strikes from Amadou Bakayoko and Carlton McKenzine securing a 2-0 win against Port Vale, while Brentford came from behind to beat Gillingham 3-1 thanks to a brace from Montell Moore and a further strike from Courtney Senior.
Elsewhere Burgess Hill Town, who found the back of the net through Dan Perry (2), Lee Harding and Tariq Richards, beat Wingate & Finchley 4-3, while Altrincham saw off Wrexham 2-1.
