Conference Premier sides join the rest of the FA Trophy contenders on the road to Wembley

This Saturday Conference Premier clubs enter the 1st Round Proper of the FA Carlsberg Trophy and some of the venues could feature in a new book called 100 British Football Grounds To Visit Before You Die.

The brainchild of National Non-League Football Day founder Mike Bayly, 100 British Football Grounds ... will be published in 2014 and voting is open to every single ground in the country, from the Premier League to village football.

“This weekend's round of FA Trophy games provides the opportunity for fans to take a trip into the unknown, with some of England's most respected and cherished grounds available to visit,” said Bayly who is a committee member at Wingate & Finchley FC.

“Aside from the fun and camaraderie of going to a football match, visiting a new ground is a hugely important part of football culture.

“Whether you're a groundhopper, season-ticket holder or casual supporter, seeing a new ground for the first time is a genuinely emotive experience.

“It might be the nostalgic hue of Chorley's historic Victory Park, the sweeping terraces of Ebbsfleet's Stonebridge Road or the eco-friendly architecture of Dartford's Princes Park, there will be something to please everyone.”
