Liverpool midfielder Adam Phillips scored a last-minute winner as England U16s edged Portugal in the final group match of the annual Montaigu Tournament.
After losing to Saudi Arabia and drawing 1-1 with South Korea earlier in the week, this victory meant Kenny Swain’s Young Lions finished second in the group and will take on France in the third/fourth-place play-off on Monday.
