After winning each of the first eight 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers, the Lionesses go into the 21 August fixture knowing a point will be enough to guarantee their place in the Finals in Canada.
Sampson will of course be looking to maintain the 100 per cent record – during which they have scored 38 times and conceded just once – and has named a strong squad.

2015 FIFA Women's World Cup qualifier

After impressing in the 4-0 friendly victory against Sweden earlier in August, Sampson has kept faith in the game's two debutants and recalled Fran Kirby of Reading and Jodie Taylor, who plays her football in America with Washington Spirit.
Meanwhile, experienced internationals Casey Stoney and Kelly Smith – who have 207 caps between them – return after being rested for the fixture in Hartlepool.
Following the game in Cardiff, Sampson’s side travel to Montenegro to complete the group stage on 17 September – although he will be hoping to get the job done closer to home across the Welsh border.
