Jemma Rose and Jo Potter have been called up to the England Women’s squad ahead of Thursday’s World Cup qualifier against Wales.
They replace Kelly Smith and Jade Moore who have withdrawn from the squad, both due to leg injuries.
It is Rose’s second involvement with the senior side, following her inclusion at England’s training camp in La Manga in June.
Potter was part of the squad for England’s 4-0 win over Sweden earlier this month.
England need just a point against Wales to qualify for next summer’s FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada.
Rose, who has just been named as first-team captain of Bristol Academy, said: "Being part of the training camp in La Manga really pushed me on this season and I wanted to be in the senior set-up again.
"We have a really important game on Thursday, the whole squad is focused on getting the win and we’re working really hard in training.
"It's great to be involved in the squad for such a big game and I'm really looking forward to the match in Cardiff."
Wales v England will take place at Cardiff City Stadium on Thursday 21 August (KO 7.05pm). The match is live on BBC Three, with coverage starting from 7pm.
England fans can buy their tickets via the stadium ticket office hotline only, on 0845 345 1400, and should request the away end in blocks 202 and 203.
Tickets cost £5 for adults and £2 for concessions.
