Bristol Academy captain Corinne Yorston says Everton were unable to compete with her side's attacking flair at Stoke Gifford Stadium.
The Vixens, looking to improve on their mid-table position, surged into 2-0 lead after just 11 minutes as striker Natalia Pablos Sanchon scored an early penalty followed by a sublime curling effort.
“I’m thrilled my extra shooting practice with the coaches paid off”

Everton, who remain bottom of FA Women’s Super League 1, responded through Kelly Jones and then Brooke Chaplen to equalise on 35 minutes.
Yet the hosts reclaimed the lead before half-time through Nikki Watts’ stunning 30-yard strike before Yorston’s deft lob and Watts’ second effort made it 5-2.
Yorston admitted the win came as some relief after a difficult run and said the result will give them belief ahead of their next match against Birmingham.
“The main thing was to get the three points on the back of the international break and a few losses in the league,” she said.
“We were good in some patches and not so good in others but for the majority of the game we were the better team.
“We wanted to come out quickly and we got the whole team playing with a high tempo and passion to score two quick goals.
“We did have a sloppy spell and allowed them back in but we picked ourselves up and worked a lot harder.
“It was my first goal of the season so I’m thrilled my extra shooting practice with the coaches paid off.
“We will take a lot of confidence from this performance and now have a week and a half to get ready for the Birmingham game.”
“We have to hold our hands up and say we just weren’t good enough”

The Toffees endured a nightmare start before Jones connected with Danielle Turner’s cross at the back post and Simone Magill neatly fed in Chaplen to equalise.
Watts then struck twice either side of Yorston’s exquisite chip over Rachel Finnis-Brown, who was replaced by Megan Walsh before the final goal.
And Everton defender Fern Whelan admitted her side were well beaten.
“It’s obviously a very frustrating result,” said Whelan. “Things just didn’t go our way and it’s disappointing.
“There were some individual mistakes, and as a collective we made some mistakes, we have to hold our hands up and say we just weren’t good enough.
“We didn’t perform, we were 2-0 down and when we got it back to 2-2 we had a chance, we did well to recover from that point.
“But we fell to a big defeat, it’s not been like the last couple where we’ve narrowly lost, we lost heavily here.”
