Three members of England’s European U17 Championship-winning squad have made the step up to the U19s for a match against Germany on Monday 8 September.
Charlton defender Joe Gomez, Chelsea attacker Izzy Brown and Fulham forward Patrick Roberts all helped steer the Young Lions to Euro glory in Malta in May.
The trio will get their maiden experience of the U19 set-up when John Peacock takes his side to Oberhausen, in eastern Germany, for a testing fixture.
