The Arsenal youngster fired the Young Lions into a 2-1 lead midway through the first-half, hitting an exquisite strike from twenty yards with his left foot.
"It was a good two goals for me," Hinds told TheFA.com. "Especially the first one, I just hoped and shot. I don’t really use my left foot, but it was an opportunity to score so I took it.

"I could not have hit it any better – I was amazed."
Hinds sealed his brace in the second-half to secure a 4-3 victory - and he was in buoyant mood at full-time as he revealed his targets for the upcoming season.
"For the second, Callum Gribbin went through, and I saw the opportunity to get to the losose ball, and luckily I managed to put it in the corner.
"The gaffer said we should have managed the game better – but overall I think he was pleased.
"And the lads are buzzing. The other two games we could have done better, but as we have gelled together over the week, the performances have got better and you saw that today."
He continued: "I want to win the Euros just like last year’s U17s so I hope I’m involved in the qualifiers in October.
"There’s also a chance of a World Cup, which would be a dream to play in, so we all want to do well."
He added: "I’m going to go back to Arsenal, hopefully keep on performing there, and do enough to be selected for England next time."
