Danny Nardiello pounced to equalise for Bury in the second minute of stoppage time against Luton Town in their FA Cup Second Round clash on Saturday.
Just seven points separated the sides in the League Two standings, and there wasn’t much between them in their clash at Gigg Lane.
Mark Cullen had put The Hatters ahead just after the break, when Rob Lainton’s fumble presented him with the easiest of opportunities, before ex-Manchester United man Nardiello netted late on to secure a 1-1 draw.

Ten-man Maidston United saw their dreams ended in Wales as Wrexham defeated the seventh-tier side 3-1.
Manny Smith gave the hosts the lead on 13 minutes, and things got worse for the visitors as Aaron Simpson was shown a red card and Andy Bishop converted a penalty.
Alex Flisher gave Maidstone a glimmer of hope as he pulled a goal back on 63 minutes, but Bishop ensured a spot in the next round late on with his second.
Tom Aldred's strike earned Accrington Stanley a deserved replay against League One Yeovil Town as they too fought out a 1-1 draw.
In the first ever competitive meeting between the sides, Jordan Clarke struck against the run of play to give The Glovers the lead on the half hour mark.
But John Coleman’s side rallied and their considerable second half pressure paid off when Aldred netted after latching on to a Rob Atkinson pass.
They nearly won the tie when Shay McCartan headed towards goal in the closing stages, but the woodwork stood in the way, meaning Stanley will have to make the 261 journey to Somerset on Tuesday 16 December for a replay.
Manchester United were famously humbled at Stadium:MK in the League Cup earlier in the season, but Chesterfield were determined not to follow suit.
MK Dons had thrashed Colchester United 6-0 in their last home game, but Armand Gnanduillet’s headed winner put the Spirites through to the Third Round for the first time in 17 years.
Doncaster needed a helping hand to score at Oldham, as they were unable to convert any of their chances. Genseric Kusunga obliged with an own goal to put Donny’s name in the hat.
And goals from Cole Stockton and Jason Koumas earned Tranmere a 2-2 draw at the Kassam Stadium.
After Stockton’s opener, two quick fire goals from Tyrone Barnett put Oxford United in firm control. But the ageless super-sub came off the bench to level the tie after picking up the ball on the right, brating a man and curing into the far corner.
Plymouth paid the penalty for giving away two spot kicks - and missing one of their own - as they went down 3-0 at Sheffield United.
Reuben Reid had the chance to put Argyle ahead but fluffed his lines from twelve yards, but Jose Baxter showed him how it’s done as he slotted two home.
Marc McNulty added a third late on when he flicked a Florent Cuvelier cross into the net.
