The visitors found the net through Ben Wood and Mickey Rae, but their efforts were cancelled out by a brace from Steff Holt and Shane Kelsey’s strike.

Shildon, who enjoyed a brilliant FA Cup run this season by reaching the Fourth Qualifying Round, went into Wednesday’s Third Round tie full of confidence.
And it showed as they took the lead just two minutes into the match after Wood found the net. However, they were pegged back when Holt equalised from a dangerous corner into the penalty area.
Holt then doubled his and Shaw Lane’s tally on the stroke of half-time to delight of the home fans.
The tie looked to be put to bed early on into the second-half when the hosts got their third of the night courtesy of a deflected free-kick from Kelsey.
And although Shildon grabbed a late goal through Rae, it proved to be in vain as Shaw Lane held on to claim a memorable victory.
They will now face Walsall Wood in the Fourth Round.
