England internationals Andy Carroll and Stewart Downing inspired West Ham to a 2-0 victory over Leicester which cemented their place in the Premier League’s top four.
Carroll opened the scoring in the 24th minute, capitalising on a loose back-pass by Paul Konchesky before a fine finish over Ben Hamer.
And Downing sealed all three points just before the hour mark with his fourth of the season, which he curled home in style.
England Under-21 international Harry Kane kept up his fine scoring form with his 14th goal of the season to help Tottenham to a 2-1 victory over Burnley at White Hart Lane.
Ashley Barnes equalised for the visitors but Erik Lamela's first Premier League goal secured all three points for Spurs, who had Three Lions defender Kyle Walker at right-back throughout.
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino said: “It's becoming normal now that Harry Kane has scored.
“We are very happy with him. He worked very hard and scored a goal, which is very important for the striker.”
In the day's early kick-off, Joe Hart and James Milner both played for Manchester City, who beat Crystal Palace 3-0 to move level on points with Premier League leaders Chelsea.
Versatile Milner played up front for City who won thanks to a double from David Silva before Yaya Toure's late strike.
Meanwhile, their city rivals Manchester United drew 1-1 at Aston Villa after Radamel Falcao's goal cancelled out Christian Benteke's opener.
England stars Wayne Rooney, Ashley Young, Michael Carrick and Phil Jones all played for United while Fabian Delph was in action for Villa.
There were England players on both sides at St Mary's as Southampton beat Everton 3-0 on the south coast.
Fraser Forster, Nathaniel Clyne and Ryan Bertrand were all part of the Saints back five which kept a clean sheet while Leighton Baines and Ross Barkley both featured for Everton.
In the Championship, England Under-21 international Alex Pritchard, on loan from Spurs, scored as Brentford kept up their recent good run with a 3-2 win over Cardiff.
Cauley Woodrow was on target as Fulham eased to a 4-0 defeat of Sheffield Wednesday.
And in League One, England U19 international Dele Alli bagged a goal as MK Dons crushed Oldham 7-0. Benik Afobe also scored for Karl Robinson’s in-form side.
