AFC Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson’s impressive start to the 2014-15 season earned him a first England call-up at any level in November.
The former Coventry City player has quickly become one of the Championship’s dangermen and Under-21s boss Gareth Southgate was suitably impressed with his form to pick him for the games with Portugal and France.
And after getting his first taste of life with the Three Lions during training at St. George’s Park, he made his debut as a second-half substitute against France in Brest.
That game ended in a 3-2 defeat for England, but Wilson had his maiden cap and will be hoping to keep his domestic form going to challenge for a place in the squad for next summer's Euro Finals in Czech Republic.
