Andros Townsend, the fleet-footed Spurs winger, burst onto the England scene last year.
He scored spectacularly on his debut in the crucial World Cup Qualifier with Montenegro at Wembley and went on to feature in the next four internationals.
Townsend made less of a contribution in 2014, a year in which he suffered from niggling injuries and a lack of first-team opportunities at White Hart Lane.
In the first international of the year, a Wembley friendly with Denmark, he came on for Raheem Sterling with just four minutes of normal time remaining.
He missed out on the World Cup in Brazil but was back in England contention for the double-header in October. He substituted for Danny Welbeck against San Marino and scored a thumping goal in a 5-0 victory at Wembley.
Townsend has now netted twice in six appearances for Roy Hodgson’s side.
