Gemma Bonner has signed a new contract with FA WSL 1 champions Liverpool.
The 23-year-old England defender skippered the Reds to successive League titles, having joined from Chelsea in 2012.
Bonner was ever present last season as Matt Beard’s side retained their crown, sealed with a 3-0 final-day victory against Bristol Academy.
She said: "I am absolutely delighted to have signed a new contract with Liverpool Ladies.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here and I'm sure we can win many more trophies over the next few seasons.
"The team spirit here is brilliant and, in my opinion, was the main reason why we managed to retain the Women's Super League title last season.
"The prospect of competing in the UEFA Women's Champions League again is also an exciting one and I cannot wait for the season to restart."
Bonner is the third England international to commit their future to Liverpool, following contract extensions for Natasha Dowie and Katie Zelem.
Beard added: "I am absolutely thrilled that Gemma has committed her future to Liverpool Ladies.
"She has been one of the key reasons for our success over the last two seasons and her new deal is a key one for the club.
“Not only is she a leader with her performances on the pitch, but she leads by example off the pitch and is well respected by her fellow team-mates."
