England striker Wayne Rooney has signed a four-year contract extension with Manchester United, with the new deal due to expire in June 2019.
The 28-year-old has scored 208 goals in 430 appearances for United, putting him fourth in the club’s all-time goalscorer list behind Jack Rowley (211), Denis Law (237) and Sir Bobby Charlton (249).
Rooney said: "I'm happy everything is now finalised and I can carry on concentrating on my football."

The former Everton youngster is just 41 goals short of Charlton’s goal tally and it is a record Rooney would like to surpass.
He added: This is definitely something I would like to achieve. If I managed to do it it'd be something I'd be very proud of.
"My aim is always to score and create as many goals as possible, so if I can continue to score regularly and break the record then I would be delighted."
United boss David Moyes said: "Wayne has been the best player in England since I put him into the Everton first team in 2003.
"Since becoming United manager in July last year, I have enjoyed working with him and seeing just how he has developed his incredible talent. With his ability, his experience and his desire to succeed, he is a vital part of my plans for the future and I'm absolutely thrilled he has accepted the challenge.
"I said last July that Wayne has an outstanding chance to be a true legend of this club's long and rich history. He is just 42 goals away from overtaking Sir Bobby as our record goalscorer and becoming the first United player to hit 250 goals for the club.
"These opportunities only come to special players and I'm confident Wayne will set a new record that will take decades to reach. These are really exciting times for everyone connected with the club."
Rooney, who has netted 38 times in 88 international appearances, will become an ambassador for United when he retires from the game.
