Darren Anderton believes The FA Cup offers Tottenham Hotspur a realistic chance of silverware this season.
Eight-time winners Spurs travel to north London rivals Arsenal on Saturday evening in the stand-out tie of the Third Round.
They go to the Emirates on the back of an impressive 2-1 win against Manchester United on New Year’s Day.

And former Spurs midfielder Anderton believes new White Hart Lane chief Tim Sherwood will now be targeting success in this famous competition.
He said: "Fans want to win trophies, they want to go and have that day out at Wembley.
"Tim Sherwood will probably look at it and think ‘we’re not going to win the League this year. This is our opportunity to get some silverware’.
However, Anderton knows their first Cup assignment will not be easy.
Spurs have only won twice at Arsenal in 20 years, while the Gunners currently sit atop the Premier League and have yet again qualified for the knockout stages of the Champions League.
Anderton added: "It’s a challenge whoever plays against Arsenal, with that midfield and the way they play.
"They are so good on the ball [with] quick and incisive passes. [They are] a wonderful team. First and foremost you’ve got to work hard to stop them.
"It’s tough to say who [the tie is] more important for.
"The fact that Tim’s the new manager – a win against Arsenal would do him no harm at all."
