Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho has expressed his pleasure at playing alongside Steven Gerrard and Daniel Sturridge.
The Brazilian, who joined the Reds in January last year, has revelled in his role alongside the two England internationals at Anfield, and admits he has been in awe of “all the fantastic players at the club” during his spell in England.
In an interview with LiverpoolFC.com, Coutinho said of Sturridge: "Daniel is a fantastic player and it is always a pleasure to play alongside him, because he is always on the move trying to score goals.
"I believe he is back in training and I hope he gets back as quickly as possible because it will be better for us all."
“Gerrard this year has been exceptional”

Sturridge is nearing his comeback following an ankle injury suffered in November – but Gerrard made his comeback last Sunday in The FA Cup against Oldham.
With the goalscoring form of Luis Suarez stealing a lot of the headlines, Coutinho says he is pleased to be playing alongside the deadly marksmen, although he also believes that Gerrard’s form has been instrumental to Liverpool’s form this season.
He said: “As I said before, it is an honour to play with such a great player [Suarez]. Not only to play with him, but also with Gerrard, Lucas and all the other fantastic players that we have at our club.
"Gerrard this year has been exceptional."
The skipper has bagged six assists this season, which is the joint-third highest in the league, and also netted three goals - one of which was his 100th strike in England's top flight.
He will be looking to add to that tally when Liverpool travel to Stoke City in the Premier League on Sunday, kick-off 4pm.
