The Road to Wembley packed its bags and headed for the seaside on Saturday to take in Southend United v Hull City.
It was hardly a day for swimming but Gary Stonehouse took a stroll down the world's longest pleasure pier before heading for Roots Hall.
A packed stadium played host to Hull, with Phil Brown leading out the Shrimpers from League Two against his former employers, now managed by Steve Bruce.
Hull's Premier League class ultimately won through, but Southend still gave the visitors a shock or two along the way.
Gary also caught up with four-time FA Cup winner Ray Parlour, and former Luton Town manager David Pleat, whose touchline celebration at Maine Road 21 years ago remains a golden moment.
Hull will receive £90,000 from The FA Cup prize fund for their Fourth Round victory.
