Abbeyleigh Stringer in FA WSL 2 action for Aston Villa
FA WSL 1 leaders Birmingham City have signed England U20 international Abbeyleigh Stringer from Aston Villa.
The 18-year-old graduated through Villa's centre of excellence and has been with the FA WSL 2 side for the past four seasons.
The central midfielder was this week named in Mo Marley’s squad for the FIFA Women’s U20 World Cup in Canada.
England have been drawn in Group C alongside South Korea, Mexico and Nigeria.
