The Chelsea striker has not only collected three winners’ medals so far – he is now transferring his winning mentality into the senior fold as he shows Blues boss Jose Mourinho exactly what he is capable of.
Brown won both the Under-21 Premier League and The FA Youth Cup with Chelsea last season before playing a huge role in England U17s European Championship success in Malta in May.

His incredible success story is now continuing after his inclusion in the first-team squad for Chelsea’s pre-season campaign – scoring twice on his maiden senior appearance at Wycombe last week before departing for the club’s training camp in Austria.
“It’s different to anything I’ve experienced before,” the 17-year-old told ChelseaFC.com. “It’s like a dream to be with Chelsea on their pre-season tour. I’m very happy to be here. It’s hard to explain just how much you are going to get better as a player and hopefully as a person in general.”
Playing alongside the likes of world renowned stars such as John Terry and Branislav Ivanovic, Brown says it’s been “a great experience so far”, and that his debut double scoring exploits left him “amazed”.
“To score two goals on my first game for the first team, it’s something I couldn’t have dreamed of. Now I have to keep working hard and hopefully more of that will come.
“I possibly should have scored the chance I had on Wednesday [against WAC] and that is something I can work on in training and see what I could have done differently. I just need to get that experience.”
He continued: “Getting into the right positions is important: making those forward runs into the box and getting goalscoring chances, that’s what the boss has told me to do. I’ve tried to do that in pre-season.”

In addition to the host of internationals alongside him, close friend and fellow European Championship winner Dominic Solanke has also joined him with the seniors – a move which Brown says helped him make the transition from youth to first-team, although they did have one uncomfortable moment.
As newcomers to the senior squad, Brown and Solanke were required to sing an initiation song in front of their team-mates.
“Singing in front of the first team was one of the worst things I have ever had to do,” admits Brown. “I think I was more nervous for singing than actually playing!
“At least it’s done now so I never have to worry about doing it again. I can just relax and watch everyone else do it!”
Brown will be hoping for another chance to impress when Chelsea face NK Olimpija Ljubliana on Sunday.
