As our England heroes prepare for their final warm-up matches in Miami before heading to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, you can sign up and show your support for the team for free.

For the first time, fans of the Three Lions can join as members of the England Supporters Club which will unlock new ways of supporting the team and following their progress at home and abroad.

Members will receive priority access to tickets for England home games, as well as becoming part of the official online community for supporters of the national team.

The new digital platform EnglandSupportersClub.com gives all official members the opportunity to enter exclusive competitions, participate in a forum, and share their views on England with fellow fans.

Club England managing director Adrian Bevington said: "This is a fantastic way for us to widen our engagement with supporters and hopefully bring them closer to their national team.

"By making membership free we hope that more supporters will sign up and be able to access the rewards that following the England team brings.

"No one is in any doubt that England will be supported brilliantly in Brazil, but beyond that we are looking to ensure more people are closer to the team and Wembley matches in particular continue to have the fantastic atmosphere we witnessed in the decisive qualifiers with Montenegro and Poland."

The FA discussed the options for updating the membership scheme extensively with thousands of fans, and worked to ensure the improvements and features that fans are most keen on were adopted.

England’s lead sponsor Vauxhall is also The FA’s partner in the England Supporters Club and will play an integral role, in its promotion and ongoing development, bringing incentives and additional rewards for fans.

Vauxhall head of marketing operations Keith Michaels said: “We’re delighted to be extending our partnership with the Football Association and England supporters.

“We’ve enjoyed a fantastic relationship with fans throughout our time as England’s lead sponsor and we’re proud to be supporting such a tremendous initiative. Our focus has been on giving fans the opportunity to feel part of the national team and the England Supporters Club is a great way for supporters to come together as a collective group.”

A further tier of membership for supporters to access tickets to away matches will launch in July, with further detail on the newly created ‘England Supporters Travel Club’ soon to be released.
