The FA National Game Youth Council collected well-wishes from youngsters aged from 5-24-years-old, with letters, poems and even chants in the build-up to this summer’s competition.
And they were all printed on to a St. George’s Cross before being presented to the Three Lions squad at St. George’s Park last week.
Luke Baker, who led the project on behalf of the Youth Council, explained: "This project was the biggest that the Youth Council had ever embarked on.
"However, through the passion and dedication of young people across the country, I am pleased to say that this is a showcase of what young people can achieve.
"It's great how receptive the England team have been and it shows how excited young people are to see their team in Brazil."
Messages came in all the way from Newcastle to Plymouth via the County FA's Youth Councils and Student Management Teams and were collected by the Youth Council.
"I think it was an amazingly innovative project from the Youth Council to get young people excited about the World Cup and support our boys out in Brazil," said Donna McIvor, The FA’s national education manager.
"It presented an opportunity for other young people to really motivate their peers to get involved in football and create communication amongst young people across the country."
