England youngster Luke Shaw has hailed his “dream come true” after making his World Cup debut in the Three Lions' 0-0 draw with Costa Rica in Belo Horizonte.
Shaw became the youngest player to appear at the 2014 finals in Brazil when he earned his third cap for Roy Hodgson’s side.
The left-back, 18, described the experience as “amazing” and says it has fuelled his desire to appear for England more regularly in the future.

Shaw said: “It was amazing. For me to only be 18 years old and to be playing in the biggest competition in the world is a dream come true.
"And I don’t want to stop now. I want to keep on pushing and pushing myself to get better and better, and hopefully get more caps in the future."
The Southampton defender continued: “I was focused on winning the game, but sadly we couldn’t do that.
"But I thought we played some wonderful football, but when it comes down to it we need to take our chances.
“There were nerves at the start of the game because none of us had had much game-time here. As the game got going we got better and better.
"There’s loads of young talent around.”
