Gareth Southgate's squad met up at the national football centre on Sunday evening, after what had been a busy weekend for many of the players.

The rest of the squad, those who had only made substitute appearances for their clubs over the weekend, took part in the full training session.
There was a larger than normal audience in place too, with a number of coaches from club academies invited along to observe the Under-21s' training and preparation.
