Former England international Peter Reid believes youth will be the key for the Three Lions in Brazil this summer.
Reid, who won 13 caps and starred for his country at the World Cup in Mexico in 1986, says the number of youngsters starring in the Premier League has left him optimistic ahead of this summer's tournament.
Speaking to TheFA.com, Reid said: "We have, as everybody knows, got a very difficult group. Obviously Uruguay, Italy and Costa Rica are going to be tough opposition but I'm quite optimistic with the youngsters we have.

"There's some good young players coming through. It's important to have experienced players in their, but any young player that bursts on to the scene can only be good for England and I think we have the players that can do that."
Several Young Lions have caught the eye of Reid this season, and he believes they can go on to make an impact on the biggest stage.
Reid said: "Raheem Sterling and Jordan Henderson have been outstanding this season. You've also got Adam Lallana and Ross Barkley.
"I think we have a number of young lads knocking on the door and hopefully they will make Roy Hodgson's squad and go on to make an impact in the summer."
Whoever does make the plane to Brazil, Reid says they will be in for an amazing experience.
“It does not get any better than representing your country in the World Cup.”

He added: "I was fortunate enough to play in Mexico and for all the talk about experiences, it does not get any better than representing your country in the World Cup.
"I think the priority will be the first game against Italy and getting a positive result to kick-off the group stage. And then if you can get through them, which I believe we will, anything is possible."
