Olivier Giroud said he felt a mixture of pride and relief after helping to deliver Arsenal's first trophy in nine years.
The France striker spoke to FATV on the Wembley turf minutes after the final whistle in the 3-2 extra-time FA Cup Final victory over Hull City.
He said: "It was difficult when we conceded the two goals but after we showed great character to come back into the game - and thanks to the fans we had a fantastic finish
"It has been nine years wait so I am really proud for our fans. We deserve this trophy and hopefully this year we will be stronger."
