England U20s set their sights on Colombia in Toulon

The England squad in Toulon were back in for a light training session on Thursday
There was a light training session on Thursday afternoon for the non-playing members of the England U20s squad ahead of Friday’s Group B decider against Colombia.

The Three Lions approach the game knowing that if they can avoid defeat against the South Americans, they will be involved in Sunday’s third or fourth play-off by virtue of points or a better goal difference than Korea Republic, who have now played all four of their fixtures to end on five points.

England currently sit behind them with four points, but still have one game to come against Colombia who have yet to register a victory in this year's Tournament.

And after facing two games in three days already this week, those who started the game with Korea Republic on Wednesday evening were left to rest at the squad’s base in Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer whilst nine players went on to the training base nearby.

Amongst those was goalkeeper Jack Butland, who was put through his paces in a shooting practice from the likes of Saido Berahino, Josh McEachran and Solly March.

England return to the Stade Leo Lagrange in Toulon, where they played their first match with Qatar last Thursday for the game with Colombia on Friday afternoon.
