John Peacock’s Young Lions finished their First Round qualifiers on Thursday with a 3-1 win over France in Paphos, which you can view highlights of below.
That win followed a 4-1 victory over host nation Cyprus and a battling 1-0 victory over Macedonia, and it sealed top spot in Group 4 and a place in the Elite Rounds in March.

In preparation for that, the squad will compete against Brazil, USA and Australia in The Nike International Tournament in Sarasota at the end of November before travelling to Portugal in February for The Algarve Tournament.
“These are two friendly tournaments, so we understand that the players and clubs have a commitment, but we will try and get a chance to have a look at a couple of other players, which is the right thing to do,” Peacock told TheFA.com.
“The players on show in Cyprus gave a very good account of themselves, and the target this year is to progress from the Elites and get to the European Championship finals.
“It’s a few months away, but we have a lot of preparation before them against some very good teams.”
England will kick-off against their US hosts on Friday 28 November, before they face the challenge of Brazil two days later. They will end the competition with their final match against Australia on Tuesday 2 December.
The squad for the trip is likely to be named early next week.
