England manager Roy Hodgson feels his side are in a great position heading into the New Year following their 3-1 win over Slovenia.
The Three Lions are six points clear of their nearest rivals, Slovenia and Estonia, and Hodgson hopes they can maintain their position at the top of Group E.
And after five consecutive wins, England sign off their international programme for 2014 with a trip to face Scotland at Celtic Park on Tuesday.

Hodgson said: “It was never going to be an easy game because they were disciplined and well organised and we didn't create a lot of chances.
"When we went a goal down it was important we came straight back and we did that.
“In the end it was a very good victory. We have beaten Switzerland away and Slovenia at home and we are in a good position."
He added: “We didn't play our best football but we kept our shape well. We won the ball back quickly and sustained attacks.
"Three goals was more than enough to win the game.
“Our goal was to go into the New Year unbeaten and the only disappointment is that we cannot boast a clean sheet.
"But we put the ball in our own goal and no opponent has scored against us!”
