Manchester City have made the first big signing of the FA WSL close season, bringing in Lucy Bronze from Liverpool.
The England defender was a key member of the Reds squad that won back-to-back League titles.
But she joins Nick Cushing’s side who made history last season by winning the first trophy in their history, The FA WSL Continental Cup.

At City, Bronze will hook up with Three Lions team-mates Karen Bardsley, Steph Houghton, Jill Scott and Toni Duggan.
Bronze said: "It's a new journey for me and I'm really looking forward to the start of the season.
"The way City are growing, the ambitions they have and what they want to do with the team is unbelievable. In the women's game, it's unheard of really so it was hard to turn them down.
"One of the key things is that the future of City is endless. They have so many plans in place to develop the team and you know they are going to happen because that's what the club are about.
"Building on last year is what they want to do now and I'm part of that. I just can't wait to get started.
"Knowing people, knowing what City are about and knowing the way they like to play will make it easier for me to settle in, which I hope to do quite quickly."
The 23-year-old is in Mark Sampson’s England squad for the match against Germany at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.
It will be first time the Women’s team have played under the arch and forms part of the Three Lions’ preparations for next year’s World Cup in Canada.
The draw for the Finals will take place in Ottawa on Saturday 6 December.
