Wayne Rooney hailed his side’s victory over Scotland – but insisted qualifying for Euro 2016 is his main focus with England.
The Three Lions skipper notched his 45th and 46th international goals either side of Andy Robertson’s effort after Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain put the visitors ahead at Celtic Park.

Manchester United talisman Rooney is now closing in on breaking Sir Bobby Charlton’s all-time England scoring record of 49 goals.
But he claims talk of making history plays second fiddle to securing his country’s place in France in two years’ time.
Rooney said: “I’m just enjoying my football at the minute. I’m enjoying playing for England – I’ve always loved doing it.
“I’m on a good run of scoring goals and I hope that continues. If that means breaking the record then I’ll be absolutely delighted.”
He added: “The qualifiers are the important games for us. England v Scotland is a massive game but our aim is to qualify for Euro 2016.
“Tonight was a fantastic victory against a Scotland team who are in good form but we’ve come here and shown our class and deserved the victory.
“It’s fantastic as a footballer to play in these games. It’s great. We knew it was going to be a big atmosphere – it always is here, we expected it.
“To be honest, we expected to win the game – we were the better team and we’ve shown that tonight.”
