Jack Wilshere and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could not hide their delight after England beat Scotland at Celtic Park.
The Arsenal pair combined for the visitors’ first goal, with Wilshere floating a perfect pass into the Scots’ area for Oxlade-Chamberlain to nod home.

Wayne Rooney bagged a brace to bring his international tally to 46 – three shy of equalling Sir Bobby Charlton’s all-time scoring record – either side of Andy Robertson’s effort.
And after England had sealed their sixth victory on the bounce, Wilshere said: “We loved every minute of that.
“We knew going into the game it was going to be a great occasion and we rose to it. We knew what it meant to the fans and I’m delighted we got the win.”

Wilshere impressed again in the heart of Roy Hodgson’s midfield and the Gunners star reckons he is now getting back to his best after suffering a couple of injury-plagued seasons with knee and ankle problems.
He added: “I’ve come back from a long injury and it’s tough coming back from that.
"Before when I came back I kept picking up injuries but now I’ve finally got a run and I’m happy with my form.

And Oxlade-Chamberlain, meanwhile, thanked his club and international colleague for supplying the ball which led to his goal.
He said: “When Jack gets on the ball in that deep position we’re told as wingers and forwards to make that run because we know he can find that ball and tonight, luckily enough he did.
"I don’t score many headers so it was nice to see that go in.”

He continued: “After the World Cup we learned that without wins and results the team gets nowhere.
"The main thing for us is to get results on the table in our [European qualifying] group and if it’s a friendly we want to win that as well.

"Games like this tonight are massive for the country and massive for us as players but as a team it’s important we win them.”
