Since winning the European U17 Championship with the Young Lions in May, the defender has gone on to make five first-team appearances for the Addicks this season, as well as establishing himself in the England U19 squad.
The 17-year-old has been at The Valley since the age of 13, and he told CAFC.co.uk of his delight at putting pen to paper on his new deal.
"I’m happy that it’s done and that I can push on now," said Gomez, who can be seen below signing his contract.
"It’s a relief because the intention was to get it done as quickly as possible. It’s taken a little while but it’s good that it’s done now and I’m happy.
"It’s nice that the young players here are being given a chance to play, that’s obviously exciting for us and it was a big incentive to sign."
Gomez, who was included in the U19 squad for this week’s qualifiers before he was forced to pull out with an ankle injury, follows fellow England youth international Karlan Ahearne-Grant in committing his future to the South London club after the U17 international signed a three-year contract in September.
