Hosted by coaching staff from the Wolves Community Trust, Gibson and Dier started out by answering questions from the pupils on a range of topics.
And the youngsters then had a chance to show off some of their skills, with dribbling and passing exercises put on by the coaches and with the Three Lions pair on hand to offer their advice.
"It’s been good to meet some of the kids from the local area," said Middlesbrough ace Gibson.
"It’s been nice to get involved and we’ve enjoyed the day.
"It’s a real dream for me to be away with England and I’ve spoken to a few of the kids here and they’ve all said the same, it’s their dream to play for England.
"That’s how it starts out, as a dream, and I once got involved this way and luckily enough, I’m somehow still here!"
Tottenham Hotspur’s Dier, who grew up in Portugal before starting his career with Sporting Lisbon, added: "At this age, kids are easily pleased as we’ve seen here and kids quickly find things in common, such as football.
"It’s been nice to come out and see some of the local youngsters and hopefully we will see a few of them at the game on Friday now."
