The FA Cup trophy was on show for the lucky spectators who made their way to Conference South side Whitehawk, where they welcomed league rivals Chelmsford City.
And what a match the two teams put on in front of the most famous piece of silverware in club knock out competition, sharing eight goals in a 4-4 thriller.
Whitehawk are currently 10th in the table, five places and two points ahead of City having played two more games.
But the form book goes out of the window on FA Cup days and Michaek Cheel gave City the lead after only two minutes.
The visitors must have had thoughts of the draw for the next round when they then doubled their lead only three minutes later through striker Joe Ward.
Whitehawk were reeling but not for long as ex-Charlton player and former England under-20 international Osei Sankofa pulled a goal back for the home team.

Fourth Round Qualifying draw - Monday 13 October
It took a goal from former Brighton forward Jake Robinson to complete a remarkable opening 19 minutes when he made it 2-2.
The goals kept coming and Whitehawk were ahead just after the half hour mark when defender Lee Hills got number three.
Just when it seemed that it would be it for the first half, Chelmsford levelled matters four minutes into time added on as Cheek nabbed his second of the afternoon.
The second period was relatively mundane with the seventh goal of the match not coming until the 67th minute when Robinson brought up his brace to make it 4-3 to Whitehawk.
Seven minutes later and City were awarded a penalty. What a lot of pressure for striker Joe Ward to contend with, but he handled it and scored to make it four-all.
That’s how it stood for the rest of the match as the two teams played out the remaining 15 minutes without a goal. Only time will tell before we find out if Monday night’s replay can live up to this famous Cup clash.
And that was not the only FA Cup goal fest on Saturday; Norton United won 5-2 at Runcorn Town and Hemel Hempstead Town scored five without replay at Chippenham Town.
Other impressive victories included a 3-1 triumph for Burgess Hill Town against FA Cup legends Sutton United, Chorley, who won 4-1 at Bamber Bridge, and Dorchester Town who were 1-0 winners over Cup stalwarts Hendon.
