FA Women's Premier League round-up - 26 October

There was a full schedule of FA Premier League fixtures on Sunday
In the Northern Division, a full league programme saw the top two teams draw away from the chasing pack. 

Coventry remain top after beating Blackburn Rovers 5-0 at home and Sheffield FC Ladies beat Newcastle 4-1 at home to stay second. 

Bradford City drew closer to the leaders with a 2-0 away win at Stoke and Huddersfield drew 4-4 at home with Derby County.

Second-bottom Nottingham Forest pulled away from the foot of the table by beating Preston North End 2-1 at home whilst bottom club Wolves gained their first point with a 0-0 away draw at Sporting Club Albion.

Further south, the top five clubs all delivered a win with leaders Cardiff beating Lewes away 2-0 and second-placed Portsmouth beating Plymouth away 3-0. 

Charlton keep the pressure on in third spot with a fine 3-0 home win against Gillingham and Brighton took three points with a 5-2 away win at Tottenham to retain their place in fourth. 

West Ham maintained the pressure with a 3-0 away win at Copsewood whilst bottom of the table club Keysham lost at home 8-1 to QPR.

In Division One, Liverpool Marshall Feds won 3-2 at Sheffield United Community whilst Mossley Hill beat Norton & Stockton 8-0 at home to continue to press for the top spot in the Northern League. 

Elsewhere, Chorley lost ground after being beaten 2-1 at Guiseley AFC and Leeds closed the gap with a 3-1 away victory at Morecambe. Chester le Street recorded a fine 4-1 away win at Stockport and the remaining game between Tranmere and Middlesborough ended in a 1-1 draw. 

In the Midlands, Loughborough Foxes beat Loughborough Students 3-2 to remain on top of the table as Leicester City WFC retained second place after beating Rotherham 4-2. 

Fourth placed Radcliffe Olympic closed the gap on Rotherham with a 6-0 home win over Mansfield Town whilst Leafield kept up the pressure on the top group with a narrow 4-3 away win at Solihull. 

Curzon Athletic still seeking their first points lost out narrowly to Leicester City LFC 2-1 whilst FC Reedswood beat Steel City 2-1 at home. 

South West Division 1 saw just four league games with leaders Forest Green Rovers beating St Nicolas 4-0 and Southampton Saints winning away at Shanklin 2-0. Exeter City keep in touch with the top with a resounding 12-0 away win at Gosport and Cheltenham & Larkhall draw 0-0. 

And in South East Division 1, leaders C&K Basildon returned to winning ways with a close fought 2-1 home win against Denham, whilst MK Dons thrash Norwich 12-0 at home. Crystal Palace keep up the pressure with a 4-1 home win against Ipswich and Bedford and Enfield draw 2-2.
