Fraser Forster says he is keen to put the World Cup behind him but believes England will learn from their experiences in Brazil.
The 26-year-old, who has two caps, was a non-playing member of Roy Hodgson's squad in the summer. The Three Lions came home early, but Forster insists they must move on with the new Euro 2016 campaign about to start.
England take on Norway in a Wembley friendly on Wednesday, and the Southampton goalkeeper says their young squad, with an average of of just 25, can begin to look to the future.

"The World Cup has been and gone and a lot has been said about it, but we have to move on," Forster told TheFA.com.
"It was a great experience and with the age of the squad, some of the players will be around for another two or three World Cups, so we can benefit from it.
"It’s the start of the European Qualifiers and it’s time to look forward at what we want to achieve, learn from the summer and move forward as a team.
"There are some new faces in the squad and it’s a great group of lads. It comes down to football, but if we all get on as well as we do, it can only benefit us as a squad."
When Forster was at the World Cup he was plying his club trade north of the border with Celtic. But having been with the Hoops for a number of seasons - initially on loan from Newcastle United in 2010 - he signed for Southampton this summer.

And at St Mary's he also works closely with England goalkeeping coach Dave Watson, who also joined Ronald Koeman's outfit shortly after returning from Brazil.
"It’s been brilliant and I've loved every minute since I moved down," he said. "I had a fantastic time at Celtic, and there is no getting away from that, but it was time for me to move on and I was ready for something new.
"I get to work with Dave Watson every day, so that’s fantastic for me and hopefully he can bring me on again.
"Dave’s been brilliant, ever since I first got in the England squad, so to be at Southampton with him, working day in day out, will obviously help.
"I think he can bring me on as a keeper and that’s what it’s all about. We spent a lot of time together at the World Cup, which was great, and we’ll be together a lot more now."
And there will be another familiar face at Wembley on Wednesday as Forster and England prepare to take on Norway.
Visiting midfielder Stefan Johansen joined Celtic at the start of the year from Norwegian side Stromsgodset, playing alongside the Three Lions stopper for the second half of the season.

He was also part of the Norway Under-21s side who knocked England out of the 2013 European Championship in Israel.
"I know Stefan from when I was at Celtic," said Forster. "Obviously he only came in in January, so I only spent six months with him. But he’s a great lad and is a good player.
"He’s keen to get on the ball, and is good at keeping the game ticking over, moving the ball, making good passes and always looking to turn the back four and set the strikers away.
"I think it will be a tough game, any team coming to Wembley gets an added boost because it is such a special place to play. But this will be a perfect game to lead us into the start of the qualifiers."
