Croydon will draw on their rich cup history to try and get past their Southern Counties East league rivals Phoenix Sports in their FA Carlsberg Vase clash.
Croydon have previously enjoyed success in both The FA Cup and The Vase. They gained national recognition for earning an FA Cup Second Round tie against Millwall, played at Crystal Palace's Selhurst Park, in 1979, drawing 1-1.
And they are still going strong in this season's Vase following Wednesday's Preliminary Round victory over Epsom & Ewell.

Dickson Gill acts as both manager and chairman of the club and he spoke passionately about the importance of the trophy to the club, even though he admits he has not had much time to check out their latest opponents.
He said: "The players are just getting on with their job at the moment. We’re still in The FA Cup and we played midweek.
"With The FA Vase you realistically have a chance of getting [to The Final] but in The FA Cup you don't. That's the difference between the two cups.
"Obviously everyone from our club is looking for the financial reasons to pay for our pitches etc. We are only a small club and every one dreams of playing at Wembley."
Croydon are excited by the prospect of playing at Wembley but are focused on taking it one match at a time.
And their next priority is their new league rivals Phoenix Sports, who currently sit above them in the early-season table.
Phoenix Sports have enjoyed a good start to their campaign, winning their first three league matches.
Tony Beckenham recently stepped down as their joint-manager but Steve O'Boyle got off to a winning start, beating Corinthian in his opening match.
Gill added: "We don't know that much about them. All I know is they are doing well in the league, they had done well last year and we are new to this league.
“It's just a game to us, an FA Vase game and obviously we are trying to win."
Phoenix Sports only made their debut in The FA Vase last year.
Alex Nelson scored their first ever goal in the competition, against Banstead, before they were knocked out by Eastbourne United in the Second Round.
