There were plenty of goals in Saturday’s FA Carlsberg Vase matches, as clubs all across the country celebrated Non-League Day.
Runcorn Town were just one of the sides to enjoy a profitable afternoon in front of goal, defeating Glasshoughton Welfare 11-0 in their First Round Qualifying encounter.
The home side started strongly and raced into a commanding lead by half-time, with a brace from Paul Shanley helping Runcorn to a 5-0 advantage.

Winning clubs each receive £600 from The FA's Prize Fund
The flow of goals ceased briefly at the start of the second-half, but in the final half-an-hour of the match, Runcorn netted six more times with Shanley scoring a third to complete his hat-trick.
Godmanchester Rovers also enjoyed a comprehensive victory in their FA Vase clash with the St. Neots Town Youth & Saints to scoop the £600 that each winning club picks up from The FA's Prize Fund.
The East Counties Premier Division team managed to put eight past the visitors to book themselves a place in the next round.
One game that was scarce on goals was Camelford’s meeting with St Blazey, which went all the way to penalties after finishing 0-0 following 120 minutes of football.
But, while the teams struggled to score from open play, the goals flew in during the pair’s penalty shootout.
Both sides had clearly been practicing as it went all the way to 9-9 before St Blazey finally missed - allowing Camelford to score the decisive penalty and claim victory.
