It was derby day in both north London and Liverpool on Saturday, and it was left to two England internationals to prove heroic for their respective sides with late equalisers.
In the day's early kick-off, Three Lions defender Phil Jagielka rescued a dramatic point for Everton with a stunning last-minute strike against Liverpool at Anfield, before it was left to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to score the final goal of Saturday's fixtures to equalise for Arsenal against Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium.
Blues captain Jagielka, who has won 30 international caps, hit a superb right-footed drive past Simon Mignolet at the Kop end to cancel out former England captain Steven Gerrard's earlier free-kick in Merseyside.

And John Stones and Leighton Baines completed 90 minutes apiece alongside Jagielka in the Everton back four while England Under-21s right-back Tyias Browning impressed as a second-half substitute in the 1-1 draw.
Pacy winger Raheem Sterling was a constant menace for the hosts throughout and combined to good effect with his club and England team-mate Adam Lallana, who made his Merseyside derby bow.
England boss Roy Hodgson, who was present in the stands at the game, also watched striker Rickie Lambert make a late substitute appearance for Brendan Rodgers' team.
Reacting to his late equaliser, Jagielka said: "I had one chance and elected to pass. I thought I'd have a swing if I got another. Luckily, the swinging worked."
In north London, it was Spurs who opened the scoring through Nacer Chadli in the second half but Arsenal, helped by Three Lions Jack Wilshere, Kieran Gibbs, Danny Welbeck and Calum Chambers, worked their way back into it through Chamberlain's deserved close-range goal.
Elsewhere, England skipper Wayne Rooney opened the scoring for Manchester United in the Red Devils' 2-1 home victory over West Ham before receiving a red card in the second half.
Rooney, who is England's fourth all-time top goalscorer with 41 goals, latched on to Rafael's cross and turned the ball home from 10 yards out but was dismissed in the 69th minute.
Robin van Persie doubled United's lead in the first-half as Louis van Gaal's side defended stoutly, with England left-back Luke Shaw making his debut for the club at Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, Three Lions midfielder James Milner starred for Manchester City as the Premier League title-holders held off a stern fightback from Hull City to win 4-2 at the KC Stadium with another former international on the scoresheet in Frank Lampard.
League leaders Chelsea claimed a comfortable 3-0 victory against Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge, with England centre-back Gary Cahill helping to ensure a clean sheet.
And England goalkeeper Fraser Forster and former Under-21s defender Nathaniel Clyne guided Southampton to a sixth consecutive win as Ronald Koeman's high-flying team defeated QPR 2-1 at home.
Elsewhere, Sunderland and Swansea played out a goalless draw at the Stadium of Light whilst Crystal Palace defeated Leicester 2-0 on home soil.
